Surviving the 2017 Winter at Survivors Rescue !

As most of you know it has been a record weather year here in North Idaho, multiple times we have had to shovel the barn roofs or heat the inside to 70 degrees to get the snow to slide off to prevent collapse. As I’m talking with you right now our county has been declared an emergency due to record rains, snow melt and mudslides.  It has been a tough winter with record cold and snow and so far spring is proving to be just as difficult.  Our costs have increased to keep the animals healthy and safe.  Not only have we been battling the tragedies of the situations we rescue from but the past 7 months we have had to battle the elements that surround us as well.  As we continue our fight to save lives we ask that you take a look at our “Wishlist” below and help out where you can, we would greatly appreciate it ! Financial help is always the best as it allows us to get the funds right where they are needed most  , thank you for your support ! Meet 2 week old Rhythm, a wild mustang baby rescued from the traps after being left to die when her mother was rounded up and shipped to slaughter.
